58. An Interim Blog from the Media Tart

It must seem very much as though it has been me, me, me recently for those of you that are following me on Facebook. I’m delighted to have my book out but there have been trials and tribulations with Amazon (when aren’t there?) so I have had to repost several times to let people know it is available all over the place. Which it is. Did I say that? Sorry :-). But as a result of this I have been doing lots of radio interviews (see link on the blog), then, most exciting of all, my very first talk which was at Watkins Books in London. I was feeling very much like a rabbit trapped in the headlights but warmed to my theme and in the end, quite enjoyed it. The nice thing is that I was able to bring together a lot of the blogs in terms of the experience and the learning that I gained along the tortuous path that was 2013. So if you want a potted history of me and my blog and my book, go have a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0n_VqAJN5w

I’ll be back with a proper update soon.

Big hugs

Margaret xx

About Margaret Cahill

After diagnosis of Mantle Cell Lymphoma in 2013, I started this blog to stay in touch with friends, family, and and an ever increasing network of lovely people who sent me healing. The readership increased and I ended up blogging for all I was worth to try and stay sane through the chemotherapy and stem cell transplant. Then after I went into remission (thankfully) I was enjoying the writing so much that I have carried on, and the blog seems to have become a bit of a resource for people, which is lovely. The original year of blogs have now been made into a book, Under Cover of Darkness: How I Blogged my Way Through Mantle Cell Lymphoma. It fills in a lot of the gaps between the blogs, and the tone falls somewhere between graveyard humour and explicit details of chemo treatments. I do hope you enjoy it :-) Mxx
